Affiliate school’s forum launched
Our affiliated schools can now access an online forum through their exclusive ‘affiliated Zone’ website.
The forum has been designed to provide schools with a simple and efficient way of sharing experiences, as well as seeking advice from other affiliated schools.
The forum is strictly for the use of affiliated schools only. Local authorities and suppliers do not have access to view or contribute to the forum, ensuring that open and honest debate can take place.
“Schools have so much experience and knowledge to share, but never enough time to share it” explained Valerie Thompson, chief executive of the e-Learning Foundation. “Via the forum, schools can share their experiences, learn from others and link up – it is as active and informative as you want to make it”.
The forum is a great way for schools to contact other schools going through similar experiences in setting up and running e-learning projects.
As well as postings, users can send private messages to other members on the forum, much in the same way as email.
When users go through the forum they can view all the categories and comments that have been posted. In order to contribute to the forum affiliated schools will need to register for log in details.
