Home Access Awards 2009

The Categories

We will be making awards in six categories. For each category the judges have selected between 3 and 5 finalists who have been announced prior to the presentation at the "Engaging with Home Access" conference on 20th November.

The categories are:

Most Successful Partnership
Demonstrating successful engagement and support of the parents in both the launch and the ongoing implementation of a home access programme.

Most Innovative Project
A school that can demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation within a home access project. This can include connectivity solutions, a home work or field project, parental engagement or any other related project.

Most Innovative Local Authority
A local authority that can demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation within a home access project. This can include connectivity solutions.

Most Outstanding Personal Contribution
An individual that has demonstrated exceptional commitment and drive in the achievement of a successful home access programme.

Most Supportive Supplier
An IT company that has gone above and beyond the normal expected support level that would usually be expected within their contract. This category will require nomination by schools rather than from the supplier themselves.

Home Access School of the Year
An exceptional home access project by a school that can demonstrate success through a high degree of engagement from staff, pupils and parents and where the results can be clearly seen in performance and results.
