Head of Fundraising

With a clear focus on helping over 1m disadvantaged children realise their educational potential through good access to a computer and the Internet, the charity looks to raise funds from a combination of trusts & charities, high net worth individuals, major corporations and services.

This role will suit an experienced fundraising professional with the tenacity to pursue potential sponsors, and the creativity to help us stand out from the rest. We are a small charity so you must be able to work independently, deliver results, and expect to have your sleeves rolled up.

This is no ivory tower role. You should have good relationship building skills, enjoy working with people and have experience of working with trustees and making the most of their knowledge, ideas and contacts. You won’t work alone though, you will be able to draw on support for help in PR, Marketing and our Schools Support team.

Your communication and presentation skills should be as good as your listening skills. And you should have a story to tell about your own recent fundraising successes.

Our keywords are digital inclusion, children and education. If these have a personal appeal to you then come and join us and make a difference.

Starting salary is £35-£40k depending on experience, plus generous benefits. For further information about the e-Learning Foundation please visit our website at www.e-learningfoundation.com.

Please e-mail your letter of application and cv, plus current salary details, to Valerie Thompson, Chief Executive at valerie@e-learningfoundation.com
