"Motorola is very proud to be supporting the e-Learning Foundation. This organisation works tirelessly to make sure that the 1.6 million school children in the UK who do not currently have access to a computer at home get the support they need in our increasingly digital world. Education, particularly in science, maths and technology is something which Motorola employees are extremely passionate about and we feel that we can contribute not just by fundraising but also by giving our time and expertise."

The Partnership
“The e-learning Foundation is delighted to have been chosen by Motorola UK as its new chosen charity for the next three years. Motorola is known around the world for innovation in communication and its focus on advancing the way in which the world connects”.
“Nearly 2 million school children in the UK live in homes without computer or internet access for their studies; as a result they miss out on a modern education. This partnership with Motorola will help the e-Learning Foundation in its mission to transform the lives of some of the poorest children in the UK, by giving them access to learning technologies and the chance to fulfil their dreams and ambitions”.
Valerie Thompson – Chief Executive e-Learning Foundation

Employee Involvement
In addition to Motorola supporting the e-Learning Foundation through its global Foundation, employees will also have the opportunity to support the charity in a variety of ways. Volunteering professional advice in technology, raising funds through sponsored events and payroll giving are just some of the ways in which employees can become more involved with the charity.
