The parent's role

Parents and carers play a crucial role in their children's education. Even when children attend full-time school, the learning support that parents provide is the single most important factor in their educational success. That help can come in many forms, but one crucial way is by providing children with the learning technologies they need at home, a computer and access to the Internet.  Many schools run home access programmes in partnership with parents that ensure every child has the access they need when and where they need to learn.

These programmes are designed to support your children's learning at home as well as in the classroom. However schools rarely have the funds to provide every child with their own computer, so your help in making a regular donation towards the programme is crucial to the school being able to achieve one to one access to a computer.
