Newmanrket school becomes first in region to launch its own app for the iPhone.

Parents and pupils at Fairstead House Preparatory School can now access lots of information via their mobile phones, including lunch information, the latest house point totals, school news and links to education websites.

The app also incorporates a unique messaging system that allows the school to send prioritised messages to busy parents.

Gareth Williams, headmaster, said: “Our new iPhone app is an excellent new way to engage with parents and the wider Fairstead community.
