Skype skips into schools
Over 8,800 teachers from around the world have so far signed up for the Skype in the classroom online community, which has just gone live after being in beta since late last year.

The initiative – a sort of social network for teachers and their students - is aimed at sharing resources, underpinning inter class communications and providing a conduit to subject matter experts outside of the traditional classroom environment.
