Story Competition
Results
The judges have now met and spent a very rewarding day reading , watching and listening to all of the impressive entries and, after much deliberation, managed to reduce the list to a very credible shortlist.
Without doubt the strongest category was Primary schools with a surprising number of entries also coming from the Infant schools as well. Secondary school numbers however were a little disappointing. This unexpected profile of entries made the judges reconsider the prizes offered and as a result the will format now recognise winners for the Secondary, Primary and Infant School entries. On this occasion the judges also awarded a second prize / joint winner for the Primary category.

Shreya
Preston Park Primary School
Joint winner Primary School category
This entry answers the brief very well, incorporating all the elements. Shreya clearly put a lot of work in to make her entry both exciting and interesting

Jack
Ruislip High School
Winner Secondary School category
This was a very creative entry and very unique in its approach in that he has performed it himself. It is amusing and clever but it has answered the brief and got a strong message across.
Following his successful entry we re-recorded Jack's entry and added a little video to it. He recorded his original entry himself using PowerPoint and the built in microphone on his computer..
