Take part in important research

Demos is researching a project about digital literacy (in this context meaning the ability to critically assess information on-line) among young people. As part of this work, Demos is inviting teachers to undertake a very short survey on-line:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5FJKXD5

It will take under five minutes. All responses will all be anonymous, and no individuals or schools will be identified. The survey aims to assess the digital literacy of students, the extent of digital literacy in the curriculum, and whether teachers feel they have the support needed to impart these skills.

The survey closes June 5th and the results will be included in a short paper Demos will be releasing in June/July 2011, about digital literacy and the National Curriculum.

If you'd like to take part, just click on the link and you'll be taken to the survey page. It would be fantastic if you could pass on to other teachers at your school (or others that you know). Demos is also looking for teachers to interview on this subject, so please do get in touch directly if you would be interested in taking part: Jamie Bartlett is leading the research: Jamie.Bartlett@demos.co.uk
